Crowns

A crown is like a hat that is fitted over the tooth. Crowns are used to restore badly broken down teeth; they can be made of gold, porcelain fused to gold or just porcelain. Crowns are also used to improve the shape and colour of teeth.

Many patients that we see suffer from cracks or fractures of their back teeth; and they inform us that “it hurts when I bite something hard”. In these situations crowns are very effective at solving the problem.
