Prior to your arrival at the Practice you will have had a conversation with the receptionist staff and appropriate cleaning activities will have been implemented to meet Covid-19 exposure control requirements.

Upon arrival we would ask you to wear a face covering and use the hand sanitiser available.

You will then be offered appropriate PPE, if you have not already got what is needed, and also be asked a series of questions in relation possible exposure to Covid-19.

You will then be asked to wait for your treatment, observing social distancing within our comfortable reception area.

Once advised, we would then ask you to make your way to the appropriate treatment suite that has been prepared to minimise Covid-19 risks and we would ask you to ideally limit physical contact with all hard surfaces, if possible.

On entering the treatment room you will asked to place your possessions in the secure box until you are ready to collect them at the end of the appointment.

You will then receive the treatment that you are here to receive under close Covid-19 control conditions.

On leaving the treatment suite you will be asked to re-sanitise your hands again at the station provided.

Once treatment is completed you should return to reception; complete whatever administrative tasks, like booking your follow-up treatment, are needed, collect your possessions, and exit the Practice.

Staff will then wipe down designated ‘potential’ contact points within the Practice so that they are clean ahead of the arrival of the next patient.
